Die guten Sachen

Die Schnittstelle ist kinderleicht. Keine verwirrenden Menüs, nur ein übersichtliches Formular, in das Sie Ihre Fragen und Antworten eingeben. Ich habe ein 10-Fragen-Quiz über Photosynthese erstellt, einige Lückentexte und Begriffszuordnungen eingegeben und auf „Exportieren“ geklickt. Es wurde eine übersichtliche HTML-Datei erstellt, die ich in einem Webordner ablegen und per Link teilen konnte. Auf der Ergebnisseite werden die richtigen Antworten angezeigt und Fehler hervorgehoben – sehr hilfreich für Studierende, die den Kurs nach der Prüfung noch einmal durchgehen möchten. Mir gefiel auch, dass Benutzer vor dem Start aufgefordert werden, ihren Namen einzugeben. Fühlt sich etwas formeller an, was dabei hilft, die Dinge zur Rechenschaft zu ziehen. Und da es kostenlos ist, gibt es keinen Grund, es nicht auszuprobieren, wenn Sie sich nur auf die Probe stellen.

Das nicht so Gute

It’s definitely not built for scale. If you need fancy analytics, branching logic, or timed sections, forget it. There’s no preview mode, so you’re basically guessing how it’ll look until you open it in a browser. Also, the styling is… basic. Like, really basic. No options to change colors or fonts. It looks like something from 2005. And don’t expect mobile responsiveness - it’s meant for desktops. If you’re teaching remotely and your students are on phones, this might frustrate them. Plus, the app is old-school - it runs on older Mac OS versions, which means newer systems might have compatibility issues. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing.

Fazit

If you need a no-cost, straightforward way to make basic interactive quizzes for Mac, Quiz Press for Mac - Download for Mac is worth a shot. It won’t win any design awards, but it gets the job done for small classes or one-off assignments. Teachers who want something light and quick without signing up for another account should grab it. But if you’re looking for polish, customization, or modern features, go with something else. Free? Yes. Perfect? No. But useful? Absolutely.
