The good stuff

It’s actually kind of satisfying to match the name to the right image. The graphics aren’t fancy, but they’re clear enough - no blurry pixelated dogs here. I liked how the game gives you ten levels to get through, and each wrong answer costs a life. It keeps you on your toes. There’s a nice little rhythm to it: see the name, scan the five pictures, click. You start to recognize patterns after a few rounds - like how Dalmatians have those spots in clusters, or how a Boxer’s face is always wide and kinda grumpy. It’s not deep learning, but it does help reinforce recognition if you're trying to remember breeds from memory.

The not-so-good

Here’s where it falls apart: the same breeds show up in the same order every single time. I did level 3 twice and got the exact same five dogs. After round three, I was like, “Wait, isn’t this the same set?” And then I realized - yeah, it is. No variation. No bonus trivia. No new breeds beyond the usual suspects. If you’re not super into dogs, this will feel like a chore. Also, no way to skip ahead or replay old levels. It’s locked in a loop. I’d compare it to that old flash game everyone used to play in school - fun at first, but you can only do it so many times before it gets stale.
