The good stuff

The scroll position memory is a tiny feature but genuinely useful. If you’re tracking a long news thread or a Reddit post with 100 comments, it’ll jump back to where you were after each refresh. That saved me from scrolling down every 30 seconds during a big game. And yeah, it pauses when you’re typing - not just in text fields, but anywhere on the page. I once had it running while filling out a form, and didn’t get caught mid-entry. Small win, big relief.

Also, being able to set different intervals per tab is nice. One site needs a 5-second refresh, another only every 2 minutes. The not-so-good

It’s weird how two identical tabs sync automatically. I had the same job board open in two windows to compare listings, and both refreshed at the same time. Not ideal. I ended up opening one in an incognito window just to break the sync. Also, the app doesn’t warn you before refreshing if you’ve got unsaved text - which has happened once. Not fun losing a half-written comment because the page reloaded.

And look, the interface is minimal for a reason - it’s barebones. No notifications, no sounds, no custom triggers. If you want alerts when “sell” appears on a stock ticker, you’re out of luck without upgrading. But the paid version isn’t cheap, and honestly, most people won’t need those features. Still, the lack of any safety net for data loss is a real downside for casual use.
